Drovio is a collaborative screen sharing solution built for remote, hybrid and distributed teams. Each participant gets their own mouse cursor on your screen and can interact with your apps in real time, right from the app or from a web browser, without installing any software or plugin.

Anatomy¶
Drovio comes in two pieces: Drovio Server and the Drovio app.

| Drovio Server | Web server, users and licenses allocation manager. Controls Drovio app connections and serves the web client to guests. On the Cloud edition, it is hosted by Drovio; on the Enterprise edition, you run it yourself. |
| Drovio app | Native app that lets users share their screens or apps with other users who have the app installed or who use the web client. Same binaries across both editions. |
Which edition is for me?¶
- Enterprise (on-premises): you run Drovio Server on your own infrastructure; ideal for data residency, air-gapped or fully controlled deployments. Start with the deployment overview.
- Cloud (SaaS): Drovio hosts everything; fastest to onboard, no ops. See the Cloud reference.
