FAQ¶
Can I install Drovio Server or the Drovio app on a 32-bit operating system?
No, we only provide support and installers for 64-bit systems. Please check the requirements to confirm your setup is compatible with Drovio.
I cannot get voice chat and/or video conferencing to work on my web browser (default configuration), why?
Web browsers such as Chrome require Drovio Server to be accessed over HTTPS for a user to share their microphone and/or webcam. See Enable HTTPS.
Keyboard combos such as ⌘+Tab or Alt+Tab won't work when joining a session from my web browser, why?
Web browsers simply don't allow this. You'll be able to fully use your keyboard when joining someone's screen directly from the app.
Email notifications are not sent, what should I do?
First ensure your email server configuration is correct (contact your email
provider). If you see SSL issues in the logs, try setting the trust_all
parameter to true and own_hostname to your email domain name, from the
Settings tab on the administration panel. The change applies within a few
seconds, no restart needed. If the problem persists, contact us at
support@drovio.com.
I cannot type on a remote screen when using Drovio for macOS, why?
We need your permission to control your computer so the app can handle that. Check that you have allowed the app in your system's Privacy preferences. See why we need permissions on macOS and how to grant them.
